FGM/EARLY MARRIAGE:
Through educational seminars and health care talks, we aim to wipe our FGM.
Female circumcision is still the "rite of passage" for Maasai girls.
They will be circumcised between the ages of 12-15 and are then ready to be given in marriage.
Our aim is to replace this ceremony with a NON CUTTING ceremony so that the tradition of the Maasai is maintained but without the mutilation of the girls genitals.
